Amplify Science for Grades 6-8
Amplify Science blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers. Each unit of Amplify Science engages students in a relevant, real-world problem where they investigate scientific phenomena, engage in collaboration and discussion, and develop models or explanations in order to arrive at solutions supported by evidence. Through this process, students build a deeper understanding of scientific concepts while strengthening their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The program encourages curiosity, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for science and engineering.
Our Theatre program provides students with opportunities to explore creativity, self-expression, and collaboration through the performing arts. Students learn the fundamentals of acting, including voice, movement, and character development, while building confidence on stage. Through improvisation, script work, and performances, students develop communication skills, teamwork, and an appreciation for storytelling. The program encourages creativity and helps students grow as expressive and confident individuals.
Our Social Studies program helps students develop a deeper understanding of history, geography, civics, and culture. Students explore past and present societies, analyze historical events, and examine the impact of individuals and communities on the world. Through inquiry-based learning, discussions, and project-based activities, students build critical thinking, research, and communication skills. The curriculum encourages students to become informed, engaged citizens who understand diverse perspectives and can make meaningful connections between history and current events.
